Next, pH and alkalinity are adjusted. He then applies a calculated shock dose — the right product at the right level for your pool volume and algae severity.

Circulation & filtration check
Rob checks your pump, filter and circulation to ensure dead algae clears efficiently. A blocked filter at this stage significantly slows recovery.

Floc or clarifier if needed
For heavily affected pools, a flocculant or clarifier helps dead algae bind together and clear faster — reducing the time to a swimmable result.

Brush & vacuum
Dead algae settles on floor and walls. Thorough brushing and vacuuming to waste removes it before it breaks back down and clouds the water again.
